Discover New Quilting Designs

Updated: Nov 7

I've been accumulating some new pantograph designs over the past few months so I thought this would be a good time to inspire you with some fresh ideas! I've also added some holiday designs at the end of the post since 'tis the season!

Abundance

This pantograph was requested by my client, Lenore. It's called Abundance by Sew Shabby Quilting. I love the Modern, yet delicate, aesthetic of this design.

I used this pantograph on a baby quilt I made for a friend. There was quite a lot of negative space in this quit, so I wanted a pantograph that would shine as its own design element in the quilt. And of course, it's a lovely backdrop to the butterflies!

MODERN OP

The image below is called Modern OP, also from Sew Shabby Quilting. I love the modern, yet whimsical, feel of it. Very mid-century modern!

For the quilt below, made by my client Sam, I loaded the quilt on the longarm sideways so the flowers ran vertically on the quilt, instead of horizontally.

As you can see in the image of the quilt, the design echoes the flowers in this gorgeous fabric.

Flower Power's Cousin

This pantograph is another wonderful flower design, this time from My Creative Stitches.

I used this design on a baby quilt made by my client, Avery. It added texture while creating a lovely secondary design in the quilt.

Twinkling Star by Dawna Sanders.

Given we're heading into Christmas season, I wanted to add a couple of holiday designs. This one I've used quite often and it always turns out great.

Below is a quilt made by my client, Anne. I love how the stars in the quilting design echo the piecing pattern.

And just for fun.......here are a few other holiday patterns in my library for you to consider.

Bows

West Wind in Winter

Winter Star

This one is brand new this week.

And finally, I have my eye on purchasing the one below (Wonderland) so if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll do some online shopping - my treat!

Wonderland

If you happen to find a design that you love, please let me know and I will share the cost with you. A pantograph typically costs $20.00 CDN.

Happy Quilting!
