Edge to Edge Quilting
E2E quilting means the quilting design will be uniform across the entire quilt.
I charge 3 cents per square inch. This includes the cost of thread and a new needle. There are no extra loading fees.

Example: A quilt top that is 60 inches x 80 inches will cost $144.00. (60 x 80 = 4800 x .03 = $144)
My minimum quilting charge is $60. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $60 minimum.
Pantographs
I have a library of digital quilting patterns - called pantographs - that you can view on the Available Designs page. However, if you have another idea in mind, please make note of it on the Book your quilt form. I have many other pantographs and, if I don't have one you are looking for, we can always purchase it and split the cost (usually about $15.00/pantograph). Here are some places where you can view other pantographs:
Batting
I use and stock Hobbs Heirloom Premium batting which I love. I have both 80/20 cotton/poly blend (unbleached) and 100% cotton (unbleached and bleached). I also have limited quantities of wool and bamboo batting. Please ask for availability if you're interested.
Batting is a separate charge and is not included in the square inch price.
Batting is charged by the metre.
Hobbs 80/20 blend (96" wide) - $17.00/metre.
Hobbs 80/20 blend (120" wide) - $19.00/metre.
Hobbs 100% Cotton (unbleached) - $20.50/metre.
Hobbs 100% Cotton (bleached) - $21.50/metre.
I cut the batting from the roll and will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 4" margin on each side).
Thread
I generally use Glide (#40 weight) thread. I don't charge extra fees for thread - it's included in your square inch price. I usually match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Trimming
I will square and trim your quilt for you so you can bind it as soon as you get it back.
Smaller than a Queen: $15.00
Queen or King size: $20.00
Shipping
Shipping to me: I live in Zephyr, Ontario (just north of Uxbridge and about an hour outside of Toronto), and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in a plastic bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Be sure to mail with a tracking number. I will notify you as soon as it arrives.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above, with tracking, insurance and required signature via Canada Post. The return shipping cost will be added to your invoice.

Local: If you're local, or in the area, you can drop off your quilt in Zephyr, or we can coordinate our schedules to meet in Uxbridge or Toronto. I also have a drop-off location in Orillia (near the intersection of West and North Street).
